Dr. Kate is a seasoned, board-certified family physician and additionally has over two decades of experience in aesthetic medicine and laser surgery. As a Candela Corporation instructor, she trained and officially certified physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and aestheticians in the United States on the applications and safety of the proper use of lasers. She has also lectured nationally and internationally on the clinical applications and safety of Candela laser systems. As a Candela Corporation Luminary, she had the privilege traveling and lecturing in China, Australia, Thailand, Viet Nam, Singapore, Indonesia, and Germany. She is a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
